Team of our department

Department of new media and communication theory of Lomonosov Moscow State University exists since 2008. It has was made on the base of laboratory of media culture and communication, which has been created in 2001.

Department’s employees makes research in different fields of media science, such as: investigation of non-verbal types of communication, analysis of special features of perception information from the screen, and also research of social aspects of modern digital technologies.

Our department provide such specialisations as «Journalism on the Internet» and «Informational graphics and design» both for undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, our Department organize special courses for exchange students. Team of our department is actively looking for people, interested in creative work in media field, and who wants to implement their own media projects.

Web portal of our department

Web site of «Bulletin of media culture and communication lab» has been made with a support of Federal agency of print media and mass comminication and registered as official Internet mass-media in september 2005.

Nowadays our web portal aggregates information of our department of new media and communication theory directly, and information from different web projects, made by the students on the base of our media lab.

Our web portal includes special media section with digital textbooks and manuals for students, and set of researches about new media. Students can find there a lot of information, related to thier studies; for example, for such courses as «Introduction to advertisement technologies on the Internet», «Development and implementation of Internet mass-madia», «Law system concerned mass-media on the Internet» etc. Most sections of our web portal actually are blog-like, and they are updating by our department’s team. Also there’s a possibility for students to undergo practical training at our department’s portal.
